Biography

Louisa was born near Riverton, South Australia on 16 May 1861. She is the daughter of Johannes Lehmann and Eliza Noack.

On 17 October 1895, at 34 years of age, she married William Daniel BARBER in Christ Church, North Adelaide.

They resided in the farming locality of Navan near Riverton, South Australia. Their four children were born in the district:

1. Maud Winifred BARBER, born 26 September 1896 in Riverton;

2, Frederick Daniel BARBER, born 11 August 1898 in Riverton;

3. Jack BARBER, born 09 September 1899 near Peters Hill;

4. Alice May BARBER, born 27 September 1901 in Riverton.

Louisa passed away in Riverton on the 10th October 1922 at the age of 60 years.
