Mother of twin girls, Lucile and Laverne Hayes, b 3 Nov 1909. ^[1]

Two Divorces Granted, Saturday afternoon Judge Harris granted a divorce to Frank F. Hayes from his wife, Retha, on the ground of cruel and' Inhuman treatment. They were married In Eugene June 9, 1909, and have a child, Leverne B., whose custody Is given to Mrs. Hayes, who Is now In Portland. 12 Feb 1912, Eugene Daily Guard, page 5 ^[2] No mention of twin Lucile; was she dead by 1912?

Laverne B. Hayes died in 1918 ^[3]

Tentatively identified with the Retha O. Love who died Apr 1986 in Portland, previously a resident of Brookings, Curry, OR, because Retha Michael and Retha O. Love share the same birthdate. ^[4]
