Biography

Mahala was born in 1856. The 1870 census shows her living in Allen County, Ohio, with her parents and siblings. ^[1] In 1876 she married Anthony Cupp. ^[2] The 1880 and 1910 census information show her living in Allen County, Ohio, with her husband and children. ^{[3] [4]} After her first husband died in 1911, in 1915 she married George Knittle. ^[5]The 1920 census shows her living with her 2nd husband in Allen County, Ohio. ^[6] Mahala passed away in 1947, and is buried with her first husband. ^[7]
