I was adopted at 6 weeks old by Donald & Janet Michaelis who lived in Huntington Beach, CA. Donald grew up in Fresno, CA. Janet (Sparks) grew up in Orange Cove, Dinuba, Visalia and Los Angeles CA. My biological mother Karen Rosenthal was raised in El Cajon, San Diego, CA. She had me 2 months after her 15th birthday. Karen kept her pregnancy a secret from her family and they found out when she was 8 months along. Once the pregnancy was discovered she was sent to live with her Grandma McCoy in Anaheim, CA. Once she had me I was placed into foster care for adoption. I met Karen in 1996 before she passed in 2004. I was told that my biological father's name is Frank Trujillo and that he went to school at Granite Hills High School with Karen and her older brother and that he played drums. I was told that he does not know about me.
