Charles Frederick Moore Michelmore was born on 2 February 1863, and was baptised on 9 March 1863, at Totnes, Devonshire, England.[1] He was the son of Charles Frederick Michelmore (1830-1887) and Sophia Harriet Edye (1826-1911).
Charles married Ida Jane Jeanneret (1862-1946) on 25 July 1888, at Hunters Hill, New South Wales, Australia.[2]
