H. Duane Michels April 19, 1955—June 15, 2010
H. Duane "Fuzzy" Michels died in his sleep in Woodburn while visiting with family.
He was born to Homer and Billie Michels in Grand Forks, British Columbia, and spent his youth in the Okanogan Valley in Washington State. In 1967 he moved to Enterprise, where he attended school.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1973 and was honorably discharged in 1976. He worked for his adult life as truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Billie Michels of Anacortes, Wash; brother, Mark Michels of Woodburn; sister, Cathie Graham of Montesano, Wash.; sons, Jiles Michels of Enterprise, Benjamin Michels of Kooskia, Idaho and Daniel Maples of Lewiston, Idaho; and two grandsons.
