Biography

Eric Michelsson migrated from Sweden to New Sweden in 1654 aboard the Örnen.

Erich Michelsson was a soldier stationed at Fort Trinity in 1655, having arrived in New Sweden the prior year on the Örnen (Eagle). He made purchases from the company store between 27 June 1654 and 21 July 1655.

In 1663, Eric Michelsson, Hendrick Jacobsson, Marten Pfilsson and Anders Jonsson Ekorn were granted Dutch patents for their lands at Calcon Hook. Eric died soon after, and was probably the father of Peter Erickson and his brother Olle Derickson. ^[1]
