Biography

Veneita was born in 1906 to Charles St Ores Mickle and Ella Showalter Mickle. Grandad was working at the farm next to her father's place. He said, she used to ride her horse near where he was working...often. Her hair was a deep dark auburn and she loved to have her grandchildren brush her hair. She would close her eyes and we would ask, "Gramma, did you fall asleep?" and she would say "Hmmm, no I am just resting my eyes. She passed away in 1995.
