Gene R. Collins' Note: Nancy Jane Midkiff's first husband Wilson Tucker Gregory and John Heny Walker were best friends prior to and during the American Civil War. After serving for about a year and a half, Wilson was killed in action during the Battle of Seven Pines, Virginia in 1862 or died later as a result of wounds or of a contacted disease in Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond, VA on 15 Sep 1862.
