Birth

Alwine Mieske was born on March 3, 1866 in Mecan, WI to Gottfried Mieske and Caroline (Bartz) Mieske. She was the tenth of their 12 children.^[1][2]

Family

On March 25, 1888, at the age of 22, Alwine married Julius Puhl (1859-1928) in Fall Creek, WI.^[3]
