Biography
Marion was the son of Joseph and Sarah Amanda Wells Milburn in Tennessee, in 1877. He married Gertie Shanks, a distant cousin, in 1903. The couple had two sons; Marion Ralph and Walter Wayne Milburn. They began their married life in Greene County, Tennessee and moved to New Mexico sometime shortly before Walter was born. He died in New Mexico in 1943.
