Biography

Born about 1573, Thomas Mildmay was the eldest son of Sir Thomas Mildmay of Moulsham and his first wife, Frances Radcliffe. [1] He was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge. [2]

His first wife was Elizabeth Puckering, daughter of Sir John Puckering [1] who bore him no children.

He married secondly, by a License granted in London on the 18th of March 1617, Ann Savile, daughter of Sir John Savile. [3]

He was knighted in 1603, succeeded his father in 1608 and was created a Baronet on the 29th of June 1611. [4][3]

Thomas died childless on the 13th of February 1626. [4][3]
