Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of WikiTree.

Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.

Hi Bernard,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

My name is Lou Miles and I'm an addict! I'm happy ther is no "12-step program" for family history/genealogy addicts. My overall lost sleep the last 50 years, "Oh just one more search!" has been more than made up for by moments of joy when records are found. There' s also the mytery solved and the thrill of the chase! I'm also volunteering in a Family Search Library now so there's the added joy of helping others! Surnames in my research are: Miles; Gotcher; Wells; Maxwell; Green; Jennings; Broyles; Black; Marlow; Lansford; Luellen/Llewellyn; Sickles. "A step backward is progress to a genealogist!" In addition, I have, "Miles to go before I sleep!"

Happy to help where I can. Bernard Louis (Lou) Miles

Hi, Louis. Thanks for checking out our site.

A few employees and a whole lot of volunteers are working together to create a FREE global family tree with only one profile per person. If you'd like to help us by adding your family branches or help to grow the tree in some other way, please select the volunteer button and leave a statement informing us of your interest in our project.

You're welcome to ask a question at G2G forum.

Our Honor Code helps to keep us friendly. Hope you'll join us. :)
