Biography
Nona was the daughter of Samuel Miles and Mary E. Iverson. She was raised in Pine Hill, Randolph, Alabama. [1] She married Hosea Mack Rice. [2]Their children were:
- Ruby aka Pearlie V Rice 1904 - 1997
- Adela "Ada" V Rice Lee 1907 - 1967
- Mary Alice Rice Hooker 1910–2002
- Rufus James Rice 1915–1915
- Emmett Vertus Rice 1912 - 1972
- Hosey James Thomas Rice Jr 1918 - 1981
They lived in Pine Hill, Randolph, Alabama. [3] They moved to Lawrence, Tennessee before 1920.[4] Nona passed away in 1920.[5] and is buried in Union Hill Cemetery, Union Hill, Lawrence County, Tennessee. [6]
