Mary was born February 16, 1874 in Saint Mary's, New Brunswick. She was a daughter of Jacob Miles, a local hotel keeper, and Henrietta (Kilburn) Burpee.[1]
She married Samuel Edwin Burpee, a merchant from Edmundston, on July 26, 1899 in York County. He was a son of Samuel Sydney Burpee and Janet (Mitchell) Burpee.[2]
Mary passed away on August 12, 1951 in Edmundston and was interred there.[1]
