Biography

Marie Madeleine Milet was born 21 October 1756 in Yamachiche, and was baptized the same day. Her parents were Augustin Milet and Marie Anne Bellemare. Her father had died earlier the same year.[1][2]

Marie Madeleine married Joseph Adam 20 October 1777 in Yamachiche.[3] Together they had the following nine children:

  1. Marie-Josephe b. 1778[4]
  2. Marie-Madeleine b. 1779[5]
  3. Marie Clothilde b. 1781[6]
  4. Pélagie b. 1783[7]
  5. Joseph b. 1785[8]
  6. Théotiste b. 1787[9]
  7. Benoist b. 1788[10]
  8. Jean-Baptiste b. 1791[11]
  9. Marguerite b. 1794[12]

The last birth was a posthumous one-Joseph Adam had died Christmas Day, 1793.[13] Marie Madeleine later married Benjamin Boucher 26 September 1796 in Yamachiche.[14] They had one son, Benjamin, in 1799 in Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup.[15]

Marie Madeleine died 13 July 1842 in Yamachiche, and was buried two days later.[16]

Marie Madeleine was born in 1756. She passed away in 1842.
