Agnes Millar was born about 1700. (See research notes).
She married William Ritchie on 16 Dec 1717 in Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland.[1] They had at least three children:
It's estimated that Agnes would have died around 1760.
It appears that the original gedcom upload of Agnes' profile may have been a composite of 2 or even 3 different women, possibly arising from copying between public trees.
Her date and place of birth on the original profile was 1 Mar 1700 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. Whilst an Agnes Millar was born in Kilmarnock on that date to Henry Millar and Agnes Gray, there is no source to ascertain if this is the same Agnes who married William Ritchie in 1717. Based on the date of her marriage, her date of birth has been estimated at around 1700.
The original profile also stated that Agnes died in "Granny, 5307, Ireland". There is no evidence to support this, and indeed some public trees list this event as pertaining to a different Agnes Millar. Her date of death has been estimated, based on the expected lifespan of women at that time.
No source was found to support James Ritchie (1730-1793), born 7 Mar 1730 in Garvock, Kincardineshire, being a fourth child.
