Lucian Millar, 65, of North Lawrence died suddenly this morning at the home of his son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Millar, in North Lawrence. He was born May 14, 1892, in Heuvelton, a son of the late Dr. W. L. and Edith Wilson Millar. He went to North Lawrence to reside when 15 years old with his family. His father was a dentist who opened a practice there at that time.

On June 23, 1920, he was married to the former Hazel Smith in Bombay by the Rev. E. O. Webster.

Besides his wife and son he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Harold (Beulah) Sargant of Rensselaer Falls; four grandchildren, Sharon, Glenda, Robert and Bonnie Millar, all of North Lawrence, two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the North Lawrence Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Northrup, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in Maple Rest Cemetery in Bombay.
