Hey Mark, I'm a descendant of Levi Millard of Fulton County, Illinois who came from Rhode Island. Am saving up to do a y-dna test and we could compare. Nice to meet more Millards.

Mark , we are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.

Before entering your profiles, it's important to make sure that person doesn't already exist on WikiTree. A project (http://wikitree.com/wiki/Projects) can help you determine if your family is already here, and help you connect with members who have similar interests. If you have people born before 1700 in your tree, let me know and I'll introduce you to a Project Leader so you can get started.

For more about pre-1700s ancestors, check out our Pre-1700s projects page: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pre-1700_Profiles

I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Mark,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Hello Mark,

I am confirming you as a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Welcome! Marshall

I would like to collaborate on the Millard surname trees, especially those connected to John Millard of Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I'm interested in his European connections. I believe I am a direct male ancestor, but would like to strengthen the documentation.

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile per person. If you would like to help us grow our tree through Collaboration, you can do so by volunteering. You only need to click the volunteer button when you are truly interested in genealogy and want to find or add information about your family. Our volunteer “greeters” monitor each web surfer guest entry in an attempt to keep spammers out and they read each statement made by a guest. So when volunteering, please post a statement, short or long, about how you plan to contribute so that you will be confirmed. If all you want to do is add your own family branch, that's okay! Once you are confirmed as a full member, your profile will become a part of our global family tree, so consider that when you make your decision!

To start:

1. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.

2. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum.

3. Our help pages, menu top right -very useful information.

4. English not your first language? Here is a link to WikiTree Language Volunteers.

Want to Join us? Click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile - include how you can contribute.

Have Fun, Wikitree has been great fun for me!

Marshall, a volunteer greeter.
