Biography

Adam Miller was born on 12 Jul 1778 in Monroe County, Virginia. He was the son of John W Miller Sr., (1733–1826) and Barbara (Mauzy) Miller (1744–1819).

Adam married Leatha Canterbury Miller (1791–1874). The couple had six children John Miller (1817–1878), Samuel Silas Miller (1819–1895), William C. Miller (1821–1882), Adam Miller (1822–1896), Elizabeth Jane Miller Green (1829–1905) and Mary J. Miller Canterbury (1834–1899).

Miller-10760 and Miller-6252 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same exact birth date, same birth and death locations, death date within a few days of each other, and most important -> they married the same woman (whose profiles also need to be merged.) But this will not be a simple merge, because the parents are not the same. So,

1.) If they are different people (unlikely), there needs to be an explanation in Research Notes, and evidence that they are two individuals. Or,

2.) If they are the same individual, we need to decide which set of parents actually has documentation to support the claim! To whom does he really belong?
