Hannah Miller of Simsbury who married Andrew Robe may have been the daughter of Ichabod Miller (b. 1704 in Springfield) and Hannah VanHorn (b. 1709 in Springfield). (See Many online family trees attribute Hannah Miller of Springfield, Massachusetts, daughter of Ichabod of Springfield, to the same Ichabod Miller that was present in Simsbury, Connecticut by 1737. However, it does not appear that Ichabod Miller of Springfield and Ichabod Miller of Simsbury are the same person. If they are the same person, either: 1) Hannah Miller would have moved from Springfield to Simsbury when she was four years old, but married a man from Springfield when she was 22 years old or 2) his daughter Hannah Miller moved with him to Simsbury and married in Simsbury in 1754. While it is possible that Hannah Miller of Springfield moved to Simsbury at age of four with her father and then married in Springfield at age of 22, it is also possible there may have been an Ichabod Miller of Springfield and a separate Icahbod Miller of Simsbury or two Ichabod Millers in Springfield, one of whom moved to Simsbury), both of whom had daughters named Hannah Miller. Most references state that the two Ichabod Millers are the same person. More primary research would be helpful.
