William James Miller, Jr. married Laura Mabel Smith on May 17, 1900 in Joplin (Jasper County), Missouri. Laura Mabel Smith was born in Windsor (Henry County), Missouri on April 28, 1878. There were three children born of this union; two sons and a daughter. The oldest son, William Neal Miller, was born in Joplin (Jasper County), Missouri on May 7, 1901. The only daughter, Maude Edith Miller, was born in Windsor (Henry County), Missouri on November 11, 1910. The youngest son, Clyde Smith Miller, was born in Windsor (Henry County), Missouri on August 12, 1913. Laura Mabel (Smith) Miller died August 27, 1923 in Windsor (Henry County), Missouri, of pneumonia and other complications. Five years later William James Miller, Jr. married Georgia L. Davis. They were married February 1, 1928 in Jefferson City (Cole County), Missouri. There were no children by this marriage. Georgia L. Davis was born in Pella, Indiana on September 11, 1874 and died in Windsor, Missouri on December 3, 1959. William James Miller was called "Bill" by relatives and friends. He was a miner and farmer before his retirement. He died in Windsor, Missouri on May 18, 1964. He is buried by his first wife, Laura Mabel in Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Windsor, Missouri.
