Note: The center of Green County, Virginia is only about 25 miles north of White Hall, Virginia. William Gabriel Maupin-43 (1732-1814) owned a tavern that was later called Miller's Tavern. It is possible John Miller-29347 (1766 Albemarle Co., VA-1831 Green Co., VA) was the owner of this "Miller's Tavern" in White Hall, VA or maybe his son Robert "Tavern/Ordinary Owner" Miller. My 3rd great grandfather (Anderson Perkins Miller b-1776 New Kent County, VA) descends from Robert Anderson (b-1640 in York County, VA; D- 1712 New Kent County, VA). The John Miller of this WikiTree profile's daughter (Mary Miller) married Benjamin Anderson who also descends from Robert Anderson (b- 1640 York Co., VA/died New Kent Co., VA). This is one of several items that connect this Miller family to my Miller family of early Virginia.
