Obituary

Louise Johns Miller, 79, of Shelocta, died Sunday, March 27, 1988, in the Indiana Hospital. A daughter of Guy E. and Nancy Kathryn Sharp Johns, she was born September 4, 1908, at Shelocta. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Plum Creek Church of the Brethren, Parkwood Grange 1645 and Shelocta Golden Agers. She had lived her entire life in the Shelocta area. Surviving are husband, Wilmer C. Miller; a son, Wilmer C. Jr., of Jeannette; two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Sara) Tomb of Bever falls and Mrs. Norman (Mary) Little of Brush Valley; a brother, Robert V. Sell of Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Mable) Miller of Peach Springs, Arizona and Mrs. Lloyd (Jane) Walker of Shelocta. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Emory Johns, William Sell, and Charles Sell. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. Indiana Gazette (Indiana, PA) Mon, Mar 28, 1988
