1880: We find Emma Miller (age 16) listed in the US Federal Census June 8,1880 living with his parents and siblings in Silver Creek, Greene, Ohio. She is the second of eight siblings - Joseph (age 18), Louis (age 15), Jacob (age 12), William (age 11), Daniel (age 10), Frank (age 8) and Gustavus (age 6). Emma is the only female listed. There is one discrepancy noted that the Father was listed as born in Austria which we have discounted as an error in recording. All other facts appear to confirm know information about the family. Note: Emma was listed as a Widow in 1909 Springfield city directory. in 1900 - 1910 Census, Emma is listed as a Widow.

Sylvester did not actually die until 1927. He died in Missouri - but was buried in the Sheely family cemetery, in Fayette County Ohio. Reported by 2 other ancestry.com members Sylvester left Emma & had a second family elsewhere The match was found, as he was using the name Patrick Sheley. The Sheley family collected Sylvester's body in Missouri, and brought him back to be buried alongside Emma in the family cemetery.
