Savannah was the eldest child of Bartley and Lucinda (Linn) Miller. She married William R. Frey and had two sons before his death, which occurred sometime between 1900 and 1910.,  The sons were Chester Elbert Frey and Christian M. Frey.
Sometime after William's death, Savannah moved with her sons to Cumberland, Maryland. She and the eldest son then moved to Paw Paw, West Virginia, while the younger son remained in Cumberland., , 
Savannah died in 1945 and was buried in Paw Paw's Camp Hill Cemetery.
