Samuel was the sixth child of eight children born to Christian Daniel Miller, Sr. and his wife Barbara. Samuel was born in 1736 in Europe, some say Berne, Switzerland and that these were Swiss Mennonites.
Samuel Miller passed away in 1785 in Berks or Somerset County, PA.[1]
Samuel married Barbara Lehman in 1762 (in Germany?) He married Barbara Kauffman in 1763 in Berks County. They had five children:
