Barbara (Miller) Fairless was born in County Durham, England.

Birth and Baptism

Barbara was born in 1810. She was the daughter of Ambrose Miller and Ann Storey. [1]

Marriage

On 11 Jan 1834 William Watson Fairless (bachelor, of this parish) married Barbara Miller (spinster, of this parish), by licence at the church of St Mary Magdalene in Hart. Witnesses: Alfred Fairless; Robert Taylor; Michael Gent. [2] On 25 Dec 1833 William Watson Fairles (bachelor, age 21, of Hartlepool) obtained a licence to marry Barbara Miller (spinster, age 21 and upwards, of Hartlepool), directed to Hartlepool. [3]

Residence 1841

Barbara was living in the same house as her parents for the 1841 census. Her husband was not there the night of the census. [4]
