Attended Hicks Memorial School in Tolland, CT, for grades 1-8. Graduated from Rockville High School, Vernon CT. Graduated from Berklee College of Music, Boston MA, with degree in Applied Music (Clarinet). Later graduated from New Jersey State University (formerly Trenton State) with MA in Music, Biblical Theological Seminary, Hatfield PA, with Master of Biblical Studies, and University of Phoenix, online, with MBA.
Met Julianne Victoria Pato at the Park Street Congregational Church in Boston, MA. Married her in 1973 at the Silliman Baptist Church in Bridgeport, CT.
Veteran of the 590th US Air Force Band, McGuire AFB, NJ (1973-1977) as lead clarinet in Concert Band and Saxophone and Flute in Jazz Band
Retired from civilian career with US Army at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna PA. Worked as Government Contractor for 8 years after that, and retired December 2016,
