Biography

Erastus was born in 1808 in Connecticut.[1] He was a farmer. From the Cushman genealogy published in 1855:[2]

"Rhoda [Ketchum] born 5 June 1818, married Erastus B Miller on 4 July 1834, at Geneva N,Y. He is a farmer and resides at Prattsburgh, N.Y. Had four children."

The following children are listed for Erastus and Rhoda on the 1855 N.Y. Census:[1]

  1. Lee Miller, b. abt. 1838
  2. Johnathan Miller, b. abt. 1840
  3. C Addalade/Adelaide[3] Miller, b. abt. 1843
  4. May Miller, b. abt. 1849

Per the 1855 census, all of the children were born in Yates County, New York.
