Maude was born in 1904. She was the daughter of Israel Miller and Kate Garrett. [1]. She was born and raised in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The 1910 census shows her living in her mothers household. [2] In 1921 she married Ross Eshleman. The 1930 and 1940 census show her living in East Hanover, Township Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, with her husband and children.
[3][4]In 1944 she became a Gold Star Mother with her oldest son William Eshleman having been killed in Italy during World War II. Maude passed away in 1990. [5]
