Nancy Miller was the child of Maria Garlock and Henry Miller.
She married Moses Hoke c. 1845. She was the mother of Mary Hoke and Chester Bromily Hoke, who became a private in the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry during the US Civil War.
Nancy died of consumption in May 1850 in Stark, Herkimer, New York.[1]
Her daughter went to live with Nancy's sister Eliza Skinner.[2] Her son lived with her parents, Maria and Henry Miller.[3] Her husband remarried.
