Biography
Born in Peoria Illinois, Carrie Miller visited her sister, Ida, in Omaha Nebraska. While there she met and married a young physician, William J. Roberts, M.D. His medical practice was in Springfield, a short distance from Omaha. Following her husband’s death, Carrie took her two small children back to live with her father in Peoria.
