Winchester Star, 17 January 1930 OBITUARY Susie Emma Miller, only daughter of John A. and Lucretia Miller, was born Nov. 10, 1864, in Buchanan county, Missouri. In the year 1885 they moved to Winchester, Kansas, and settled one and one half miles north of town. In her early life she confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Christian church. On October 30th, 1890, she was united in marriage to William C. O'Neill and to this union six children were born, five sons and one daughter. The eldest, John Kyle, of Cleveland, Ohio; Thos. H., William F. and Archibald E., all of Kansas City, Mo. The only daughter, Mattie, is married and resides here. Albert, the youngest, is enlisted in the U. S. army and is stationed at Ft. Leavenworth, Kans. After her marriage the family united with the United Presbyterian church at Winchester. She departed this life Jan. 7, 1930, and leaves to mourn her loss her husband, the entire family, five grandchildren, one brother, J. G. Miller, of Sayre, Okla., and a host of friends. Asleep in Jesus! Peaceful rest Whose waking is supremely blest. No fear, no woe shall dim that hour That manifests the Savior's Power. Funeral services were held at the Reformed Presbyterian church Thursday, Jan. 9, 1930, conducted by Rev. E. K. Patton and burial was made in the R. P. cemetery We wish to express our sincere appreciation of the very kind thoughtfulness and sympathy which was expressed so beautifully in the many acts of kindness, and the lovely floral offerings, tendered during the recent illness and death of our beloved wife and mother, Mrs. W. C. O'Neill. The Family
