Bev Anomous (sp?) appears to list this same Samuel Miller's wife as "Fanny Moore" (no sources noted). I did a search for a Fanny Moore married to a Samuel Miller who lived in Pennsylvania at one time, but could not find any hits that one could have some confidence they are this Samuel Miller or this Fanny Moore.
1790 Northampton Co., Pennsylvania Census: There is a Samuel Miller noted in the Lower Mt. Bethel Township with the following (assume all listed are family members - wife, children, himself (no slaves or other noted):
Samuel Miller ---- Male over 16 yrs. thus born prior to 1774
Three males under 16 yrs. thus born after 1774
Six females (assume wife & female children) - so a total of 8 children born between prior to 1790. If child is born every 2.5 years; 1st child would have been born about 1770 which would make parents born about 1745. Thus this Samuel is likely NOT the Samuel Miller on this profile since he would have been born too early to have 8 children at home in 1790. However the Samuel Miller on the Census could be the Samuel Miller on this profile's son.
There is also a Robert Miller listed on the 1790 Census right under Samuel Miller. This Robert Miller household has 2 males over 16; 1 male under 16; and 2 females; zero other; and zero slaves.
Two pages later in the same township is:
James Miller - 3/1/3/0/0
Alexander Miller - 2/3/5/0/0
John Miller - 2/1/3/0/0
Valentine Miller - 1/4/3/0/0
Henry Miller - 2/1/3/0/0
Andrew Miller - 1/3/2/0/0
NOTE: The Census page above with the 6 Miller's also lists households with surnames of families that associated with my family such as: Crawford; Martin; Edwards; Smith; Thompson; Hutchenson; Kennedy - some are also DNA cousin's surnames.
The next census page after the one above (same township) lists:
John Miller - 1/1/2/0/0
married Fanny Moore
Samuel was born about 1715. He is the son of Thomas Miller and Iby Thompson.
Samuel was born about 1730. He was the son of Thomas Miller and Betsy, Isabel Thompson. He passed away after 1773.
476 MILLER, Alexander Plainfield 14-10-1773 - 18-11-1773 mentions his mother son Thomas dau Elizabeth dau Isabel all minors brother Samuel MILLER bro. in law Alexander MILLER ex brother Samuel and bro. in law Alexander wit Alexander CALBREATH, Joseph GASTON and John CULBREATH
Alexander Miller's father is highly likely Thomas Miller-22822 (1687-1755) thus he had died prior to Alexander's 1773 will (thus why Alexander does not mention his father in his will). Alexander's mother highly likely was Elizabeth Thompson-16475 (1687-1799) thus still living in 1773 and mentioned her son Alexander Miller' will. Alexander's brother in law, Alexander "Calbreath" (should be Galbraith) was Alexander Galbraith-349 (1749 - 1835) was likely the witness of Alexander's will (husband of Alexander's sister). John "Culbreath" was John Galbreath-1178 (1752 - 1844) another person that was associated with the Miller's by marriage. I have added a brother of Alexander Miller (Samuel Miller) mentioned in Alexander's 1773 will.
