Eva "Evie" L Miller was born ca 1857 in Maine. She was the daughter of George Miller and Ellen Unknown.

At age 19, she married James H Dyer, the son of Jacob and Lydia Dyer on December 20, 1876 in Worcester, Massachusetts.^[1] They had 2 known children.

1. Percy Leon Dyer (1877-1948)
2. Daisy May Dyer (1879-1880)

They lived in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1880 where at age 22, she was taking care of the home and 2 small children, Percy-2 and Daisy-7 months old, and James was working in a Pistol Shop.^[2]
