George Miller was a pastor, civil rights activist, and one of the 29 founders of the Niagara Movement.
When George Fraser Miller was born on November 28, 1864, in Aiken, South Carolina, his father, Alfred, was 42 and his mother, Ellen, was 35. He had two sons and one daughter with Ellen M. Buckley between 1899 and 1906. He died on May 9, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, at the age of 78, and was buried in Queens, New York.
