Andrew F. Miller, 73, of 4 1/2 Facteau ave. died at 12:08 this morning at Mercy General Hospital where he had been a patient since July 31. Death followed a long illness, and he had been treated at the Saranac Lake General Hospital on several admissions. Born in Lyon Mountain, August 14, 1901, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, he lived in Tupper Lake for the past sixty-seven years. Survivors include his wife, the former Rose Peets to whom he was married September 7, 1921 at St. Alphonsus Church, seven children: four sons, Thomas, Amos, Clifford and Alfred Miller, all of Tupper Lake, three daughters, Mrs. Rita Paddock of Hatfield, Mass., Mrs Eva Villnave of Berlin, N.H., Mrs. Gilbert (Beulah) Martin of Tupper Lake; one sister, Mrs. Emma LaPorte and one brother, William Miller, both of Inlet, thirty grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
