Biography
The son of Henry Miller (1834-) and Sarah Elizabeth Ganoung (1840-1894), Edward was born in Macon Township, Michigan in 171.[1] He lived there with his family.[2] He had two siblings:
Estelle Miller (1862-1924)
Frances Miller (1870-1949)
Edward married Nettie (Crittenden) Miller, marrying in Saline Township, Michigan on September 19, 1895[3] and having three children together. In 1900, Edward and his family lived with his widowed father in Macon Township, while Edward worked as a railway mail clerk.[4] By 1910, they lived in Detroit's Ward 10, where Edward had taken another job as a railway mail clerk.[5][6][7]
Edward and Nettie later returned to Macon Township in retirement; his wife passed away there in 1946. Widowed, he passed away in Tecumseh, Michigan at the age of 81[8] and is buried at Macon Cemetery in Macon, Michigan.[9]
