Johannes Miller, born in the Palatinate area that would later become Rhineland-Pfalz, was the son of Adam Miller. He came to the Proviince of New jersey some time prior to 1720. He married Catherine Straight, also a German immigrant, in Ramapo, Bergen, New Jersey, on 16 Mar 1720.
They had eleven children between 1721-1742
Johannes lived and raised his family in Pequannock Twp/Boonton Morris, New Jersey. He died there on 28 Oct 1769
