Biography
Lewis was born about 1794, the son of James Milligan, of North Carolina, a soldier in the Revolutionary war. He married Abigail Holder, of Warren County and their offspring are William, Sally A., Isaac L., Jane, Charles A. (our subject), George W., Elizabeth (Pedigo), Prudence (Rhodes), Newton, Silas and Franklin. Lewis passed away in 1870. [1]
