Biography

Samuel was born about 1775.

Samuel Mills married Esther Aydelott 16 dec 1805 in Worcester County, Maryland.[1] They had at least the following children:

  • Gillet
  • John
  • Robert
  • Levin
  • William
  • Elizabeth
  • Sarah
  • Nancy

Samuel's will was proved 9 aug 1852.[2] In it, he leaves legacies to sons Gillet, John, Robert, Levin, William, daughters Elizabeth, Sarah, Nancy, and wife Esther. Robert and Levin are not yet 21. The legacies include named slaves. Benjamin P. Aydelott is named executor (Samuel's brother-in-law).
