William Mills is a part of US Black heritage.
William has Native American ancestors.
Descendant
Descendant of Elijah Bass (1743-1781) and Mary (Bass) Richardson (1751-1844), of North Carolina.

William Mills was born free in 1854. He was the son of John Mills and Sally Richardson.[1][2]

In 1880, he married Ava Pettiford.[1]

He died in 1943[2] and is buried in Saint Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Spring Hope, North Carolina.[3]
