Birth and Parents: Gladys Merle Mills was born on 06 April 1921 in Hacoda, Geneva County, Alabama, United States. She was the daughter of Ferdinand Mills (1898 - 1971) and Mattie Lee (Curenton) Mills (1904 - 2004).^[1][2][3]

Marriage: Gladys Merle Mills and Charles Bartow Harper were married on 08 October 1941 in Mobile County, Alabama.^[4][5] They were the parents of at least four children who are all likely still living.^[1]

Death: Gladys Merle (Mills) Harper passed away on 10 January 2015 in Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia. She was 93 years old.^[1] She was buried in Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Lithia Springs, Douglas County, Georgia.^[6]
