A references from the late 1800s attribute Isaac Phelps who married Jemima Holcomb, Anna Brown, and Joanna Hathaway as the son of Dr. Isaac Phelps and Martha Mills.[1].
However, another reference form that period suggests that Isaac Phelps (b. Westfield 26 Jan 1962) and Widow Sarah Palmer (dau. Timothy Palmer of Windsor).[2] were the parents for that Isaac Phelps.
A 2009 study from N.J. Pennington suggests that this Isaac Phelps is appropriately the son of Dr. Isaac Phelps and Martha Mills. Please do not add/remove/change the sons Isaac before further discussion.
