Laura was born on 6 September 1854 [1] [2] & baptised 24 October 1855, Hitchin St. Mary, Hertfordshire the daughter of Thomas Mills & Sarah. [3]
In 1871 Laura Mills is living with her mother Sarah Mills (nee Hailey) (47) at 216 Cannons Yard, Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Also living in the house with Laura were her brother Joseph (23) and sister Hannah (13). [4]
The marriage of Charles Rawling & Laura Mills was conducted on 27 October 1878 Holbeck, St Matthew and New Wortley, St John the Baptist, Yorkshire. [5]
