Biography

When John Mills was born on March 14, 1840, in Skellingthorpe, Lincolnshire, his father, Samuel, was 30 and his mother, Anne, was 22. He was married on December 25, 1875, in Markham, Ontario. He died on March 5, 1904, in Manitoulin, Ontario, at the age of 63, and was buried in Manitowaning, Ontario with his wife at Hughson Cemetery.
