Alfred (Millward) Meredith was born on 5 Aug 1919 at 50, Dyfodwg Street, Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, United Kingdom. [1] His parents were Thomas John Millward (1893 - 1945) and Elvira (Davies) Millward (1897 - 1978).

Shortly after his birth he was handed over to Edward Meredith and Claudia Evans as a unofficial adoption and they raised him as their own.

I think I got it now, Steph. Just note that the Navy information came from his son and use that as a reference. Thanks for your help.

I removed the "Fleet air arm" unit parameter since it's incorrect (the words should be capitalized) and there is no supporting source for it. If you have a source, perhaps we can figure out the right unit to add to the template? I'd be willing to help you figure it out.
