Dorothea Milne was born in 1821 at Upper Savock in Longside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, daughter of John Milne and Jean Smith. She was baptised at the Parish Church in Longside on July 5, 1821.[1] She was known as Dora.
Dora married Allan Thomson by banns on February 11, 1847 at the Parish Church in Longside, Aberdeenshire.[2]

Dora died on March 4, 1900 in Peterhead and was buried in Peterhead Old Churchyard.[8][9]
