He was mentioned in the will of his grandfather, William Milner dated 16 May 1765, which refers to "my Grandson George Milner & my Grandaughter Sally Milner son & daughter of my son George Milner of Poole".[1]
He was educated at St John's College, Cambridge, and then at Lincoln's Inn, one of the Inns of Court in London.[2]
He married his cousin Elizabeth Mary Stephen on 26 October 1796 in Clifton, Gloucestershire.[3]
He was buried on 18 November 1825 at Comberton, Cambridge.[4]
His will was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 10 December 1825.[5]
